HEALTHY & YUMMY FOOD REPLACEMENTS

Have you ever felt guilty for overeating junk food ? Are you trying to find a healthier option ? Or maybe you are dieting but don’t want to stop eating your favorite snacks…whatever the reason may be , this is the place to eat your favorite snacks AND not feel guilty afterwards. Here are some great food replacements:

  1. Frozen yoghurtIce cream
    • It’s best if you use natural yoghurt.
  2. chocolate Dark chocolate
    • I didn’t like it at first but you get used to the bitterness really fast and it’s my favorite type of chocolate now.
  3. CandyFrozen berries or grapes
    • I always turn to frozen fruit when I need I’m craving something sugary and cool.
  4. SugarDates
    • when you are craving sugar , dates or raisins are the perfect replacement. They have lots of natural sugar.
  5. Potato chipsPopcorn
    • Yes , you read that right , plain popcorn. It is low on calories and as long as you don’t go overboard with salt, it’s a great replacement.
  6. ButterCoconut oil
    • This one is just a way of making your meals a little bit lighter and healthier.
  7. SaltHimalayan salt
    • It is believed that , despite it being more expensive , it is healthier for you. I personally prefer the Himalayan salt better than normal salt.
  8. SodaSparkling water with fruit
    • Pop open a can of sparkling water or a tonic water , slice some fruit up , add some ice , mix and enjoy. It’s very refreshing.
  9. CAFFEINE
    • Tea actually contains theine which is caffeine , this gives you energy. I’m not saying you should ditch coffee , but another way of getting a source of caffeine is (believe it or not) tea.
  10. SmoothiesMilkshakes
    • Smoothies are so much more light-weight and refreshing.
  11. ButterMargarine
    • Margarine taste the same and is usually much cheaper than butter
  12. FriesSweet potato fries
    • I prefer 100 times more sweet potato fries , but I guess it’s a matter of opinion for everyone. I recommend them 100%.
  13. RiceCouscous or quinoa
    • It provides lots of vitamin B and it’s super yummy.
  14. Mayonnaise or sour creamGreek yoghurt
    • Add some spices and viola a great replacement.
  15. Chocolate chipsCocoa nibs
    • As stated before , it is actually much better and some say it’s “medicine”
